Some time ago I started a blog about my life as a startup founder. Honestly I half assed it after a while and for now decided to discontinue it. Half assing something is not worth the time.
The most useful thing of the blog/homepage was, that I had a public version of my CV, which was mostly up-to-date. So now I don't want to lose this benefit, therefore I created this site. Maybe I will pick up a blog about myself at some point later down the road again. Currently I think, everybody who wants to know about what I'm doing, just follow me on LinkedIn or Instagram. One is more work related stuff, the other gives a peak into my private life.
I am a startup founder in the health-tech area and am passionate about radically changing healthcare systems. In my academic life I studied Biomedical Engineering and am still trying to finish my Master studies. Honestly with no success right now, but my studies showed me my passion about HW/SW development, data science and signal processing.
My life as a founder quickly showed me, that developing projects and developing products are two very different things. So I did a deep dive into Quality Management, Regulatory Frameworks, Business Development and startup funding. What a hell of a ride I have to admit, but I'm on a mission to change healthcare systems to be patient centric and better for all of us.

I’m visited several team building and team leading workshops, due to my instructor tasks at the local fire brigade. I once did the OOPT examination in 2014 and reached a result of C1 in all fields, therefore I would suggest I’m somewhat profound in English. My mother tongue is German and I have to admit those two are the only spoken languages I’m fluent in speaking. The other languages I know are programming languages (i.e. C/C++, Matlab, Python, Java, JavaScript).
Due to my latest endeavour, I’m gathered some knowledge in the field of lean and agile thinking, lean startup and just being a startup-founder. Furthermore I attend courses for being a qualified person for the EU 2017/745 MDR and own a diploma about being an expert for the EU 2017/745 MDR.
Besides knowledge in Software and Hardware development and a love for tinkering, I regularly compete in Ironman Triathlons or other sportives. I’m also an instructor at the fire brigade in my town where I grew up.
